What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Program Director position at American Training Inc?
- Provide direction and supervision to Colleagues at assigned program, monitor performance and ensure the highest quality service provision.

Ensure that Colleagues know and understand data collection systems for Guests Goals
- Ensure that these systems are in place and that data is reviewed on a regular basis for accuracy. Analyze data to determine trends and identify areas of success and/or areas needing improvement.
- Attend Resource Fairs/community events, as assigned by Program Director, to promote American Trainings programs and services.
- Completes and submits all necessary reports and documentation within required timelines.
- Actively participates in various groups/committees within American Training as assigned by supervisor.
- Works in collaboration with both Guests and Colleagues of varied cultural backgrounds.
- Special Projects assigned.
- Assist Colleagues with the development and implementation of new Curriculum.
- Assist CBDS Mobile and Facility CBDS Colleagues with development and implementation of community Activities.
- Build strong relationships within the community including volunteer sites and employers, to provide a wide variety of community opportunities for Guests.
- Research new program ideas to assist Guests in meeting their Goals.
- All other duties and responsibilities assigned.
- Leadership Skills: Knowledge and ability to lead a program in accordance with American Training, Inc.s mission and any/all regulations. Must be able to take charge of the program in the absence of the Program Director.
- Ability to multi-task. Capable of working under pressure, adherence to possible short deadlines, and ability to handle stress without adverse effects.
- Willingness to learn technology and implement it in everyday activities.
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Three-Four years of experience with Developmental Disabilities population.
- At least one year of Supervisory experience and Job Coach experience is preferred. Experience may be waived if additional education indicates competence.
- Exceptionally strong communication and relationship building skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate directly.
- Creative, innovative thinker.
- Able to collaborate with diverse populations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
