Job Summary
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for improving our information security technologies and processes designed to reduced risk to OneAmerica Financial. The incumbent will be considered the subject matter expert on several security solutions and the controls used to manage and support these solutions. He\She will seek out automation opportunities and optimization with integrated technologies. The role will work on complex projects that deliver world-class user and data protection controls to protect OneAmerica Financial customers and its assets.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Identify security risk, prioritize, and drive activities to mitigate.
- Prepares security reports and metrics by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Create, modify, recommend, and review rulesets, reports, and dashboards from security solutions.
- Identifying, recommending, and implementing technical controls to discover and alert on indicators of compromise.
- Keeps abreast of emerging security technologies and make appropriate recommendations regarding their implementation and configuration.
- Install, configure, maintain, and document security solutions as required to assess system and application security.
- Participates in projects as security subject matter expert to ensure timely implementation or delivery of critical information security infrastructure.
- Remediates Internal Audit findings related to cybersecurity.

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
