We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Shared Services Accounting Specialist with experience in QuickBooks Enterprise 2024 and a strong background in payroll, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, is proficient in Excel, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats to support various business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Manage payroll processing efficiently and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Handle bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries.
Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting:
- Maintain inventory records and track costs within a manufacturing setting.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) and support inventory audits.
Technology & Reporting:
- Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise 2024 to manage financial transactions and reports.
- Use Excel for data analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Generate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations as needed.
General & Cross-Functional Support:
- Assist with tax filings, compliance documentation, and other regulatory requirements.
- Support leadership with special projects and ad hoc reporting.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Profi
