POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience
Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent experience required
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with hours that may vary depending on business need.
Travel
Upon hire, 30-40% travel may be required to acclimate you to the Americare way. After onboarding completion, 10% - 20% travel may be required to various facilities, conferences, and meetings and will include overnight stays.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office or home office environment depending on location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Operate a car for required travel.

The physical demands of this position include;
Lower resident to floor in the event of fall. Utilize two man lift procedure

Functions Of The Job

- Facilitate a variety of employee development initiatives and learning events across the company through various platforms (i.e. classroom, webinar, virtual)
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires
- Provide Train the Trainer sessions to meet on-going business needs
- Manage administrative tasks associated to training programs including scheduling, registration, communication, tracking, and reporting
- Provide up-to-date, supplemental materials to community leaders and learners
- Conduct Virtual Instructor Led Training in accordance with business need
- Maintain knowledge of Americare specific programs and offerings
- Close collaboration and communication with Community leaders
- Serve as a resource for learners, answering questions and providing guidance as needed
- Measure training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements
- Coach learners to help them apply their new skills
- Encourage active participation and collaboration
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in training and development
- Creation of supplemental training content, as needed
- Contribute to a positive servant leader culture and environment for employees
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Building positive rapport and interpersonal relationships across a large population of employees
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Proficient in using computers and virtual training platforms including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred
- Maintain professional executive presence both virtually and in-person
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language
- Complete other duties as assigned

- Standing, sitting, walking, changing of position, reaching, extending hands & arms, reach across midline, crouching, balancing, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting 25 lbs from sit to stand & push, pull, lower 100 lbs and push resident in wheelchair 350 lbs.

Sensory Demands
Utilize required safety equipment
- Auditory: to hear and understand verbal request,
- Visually: be able to read necessary information to complete work tasks,
- Verbally: communicate with customers and others on your team
- When administering resident care, gait belt, lumbar support, two man lift policy and use of mechanical lifts in noted facilities.
- Use of PPE is required when appropriate to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- Mandatory reporting of all work-related injuries within 12 hours to supervisor with participation in required documentation.
- Participation in our drug testing procedures is a mandatory part of employment with this facility.
