Join Our Team as a Social Media Manager!
What You’ll Do
- Social Media Management:
- Create and provision social media accounts for users, establishing community management processes and standards.
- Oversee daily operations of social media channels, including responding to comments and monitoring trends to ensure timely engagement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, aimed at amplifying Americare’s brand and engaging diverse audiences.
- Maintain and update multiple social media calendars for various platforms, ensuring alignment with branding and communication goals.
- Content Creation and Engagement:
- Design visually appealing and engaging content using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite for social posts, recruitment materials, and branded graphics.
- Understand and leverage User-Generated Content (UGC) to align with Americare’s brand strategy and voice.
- Cultivate a vibrant online community through consistent interaction, relationship-building, and innovative engagement initiatives.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with stakeholders from the People Team, Sales and Marketing, external consultants, and Operations Teams to create content that highlights Americare’s culture, communities, and employment opportunities.
- Lead the onboarding and continuous development of Americare’s Facebook Champions, offering education, upskilling, and actionable feedback to enhance their contributions.
- Campaign Management and Analytics:
- Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web platforms to attract residents and employees.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to align campaign content with hiring needs and spotlight specific job openings.
- Track, measure, and report campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
- Digital Presence and Reputation Management:
- Oversee Google Business profiles, ensuring accuracy, timely responses, and effective use of review management tools.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive insights, and emerging social media best practices to refine Americare’s content strategies.
- Partner with internal and external teams to enhance Americare’s online reputation on platforms like Facebook, Glassdoor, and Indeed.
What You Bring

- The flexibility and willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours for events or urgent campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, human resources, or a related field.
- Preferred Certifications: AIRS, CSMR.
- 2 years of professional experience as a Social Media Manager, Copywriter, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Facebook Business Manager) and analytics platforms (e.g., SEO tools, Google Analytics).
- Demonstrated expertise in graphic design using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting with a sharp eye for detail.
- A creative and strategic approach to content creation and engagement.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and apply insights to enhance performance.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
- Experience building rapport and relationships at all organizational levels, with preferred experience in training facilitation.
Physical Demands
The ideal candidate should be capable of handling computer tasks with independence and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols and regulations. This role requires effective communication skills for interactions with Home Health and Americare staff.
Physical requirements include:
