Americas Mailbox is looking for full-time additions to our team in our Mail Room - responsibilities include:
The Mailroom Associate works under the Mailroom Lead. Job duties will include but are not limited to the following: pulling, sort, and packaging mail in preparation for shipment. You will also receive sort and distribute incoming mail, all while paying close attention to details of customer name, PMB number, plan level, requested shipment method, and shipping standards.
Functions
- Pull mail from the mail room according to each day's pull sheets.
- Obtain mailing stickers for each name on the pull sheet.
- Check all mail & packages for each customer, ensuring all names and PMB numbers match, and junk mail is being discarded if required, according to plan level.
- Package mail appropriately for the requested shipping method, following USPS and FedEx requirements.
- Perform a second check of mail that has been packaged by coworkers, for the correct name and PMB number and seal packages.
- Receives mail and packages arriving from the US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS and other delivery companies.
- Sorts mail according to mailbox number.
- Sorts and charges for packages too large to fit in mailbox.
- Distributes mail and packages to appropriate mailboxes, paying close attention to names and mailbox numbers.
- Perform random checks of mailboxes to ensure all mail is in the correct box.
- Ensure mailroom is cleaned at the end of shift, and ready for the next day.

Salary : $12 - $14
