Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential homes and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for guests or residents.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
- Provide carpet cleaning services when required, maintaining the quality of carpets in residential or commercial settings.
- Assist with cooking or meal preparation as needed in residential environments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Respond to guest or resident requests promptly and courteously, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of residential cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to sanitize various surfaces and use appropriate cleaning products safely.
- Experience with carpet cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
