What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at AmericInn Hotel & Suites?
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to perform repairs and installations
- Utilize logic controllers and other technical tools to diagnose and fix issues
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient maintenance operations
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments or individuals
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role is preferred
- Strong electrical knowledge and ability to read and interpret schematics
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to use various tools and equipment
- Customer service skills to interact with employees or tenants in a professional manner
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal components is a plus
