All Chicago - Chicago Rents VISTA

All Chicago Making Homelessness History is a nonprofit that partners with local, state, and federal agencies to achieve our shared goal of ending homelessness. Our mission is to unite our community and resources to provide solutions that ensure and sustain housing stability. All Chicago is seeking a mission-driven and highly organized Chicago Rents VISTA to strengthen efforts in increasing efficiencies within the homeless system, with a focus within our landlord outreach and engagement program. Our office is located in the West Loop of Chicago, Illinois, and we offer a hybrid schedule with intentional collaborative days in the office with your team. The Chicago Rents VISTA will enhance the capacity of All Chicago’s Chicago Rents program through connections with key partners through engagement activities. The AmeriCorps VISTA will enhance onboarding materials for new staff and landlords and support in the development of a case conferencing framework. The VISTA will also lead continuous evaluation of quality of Chicago Rents functions through surveys to key external partners and identify areas for growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is well-organized, highly dependable, and skilled at collaborating with various stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with online platforms such as Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Word is essential. Individuals with lived experience in the areas of homelessness or housing instability are encouraged to apply. The Chicago Rents VISTA will have the opportunity to engage with stakeholders and partners across city of Chicago to support a diverse set of initiatives targeted at ending homelessness. VISTAs will also have access to and be included in numerous training opportunities, including best practices for homeless services and other professional development opportunities.
