Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction disciplines and be capable of managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires hands-on experience in multiple areas of construction, including concrete finishing, drywall installation, hardscape work, and remodeling. The Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks, ensuring high-quality surface preparation and finishing.
- Install drywall with precision, including taping and mudding as needed.
- Execute hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate project activities.
- Utilize Bluebeam software for project management and documentation.
- Weld components as necessary for structural integrity in various projects.
- Build structures according to blueprints and specifications while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on residential or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and tools.
- Proficiency in concrete finishing, drywall installation, hardscape work, electrical systems, welding, and remodeling techniques.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar project management software is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
