Salary Range - $108,373 to $135,466 annually. Actual rate will depend on experience
Position is bonus eligible
This is not a remote position, there is expectation that you will be on site at least 3 days per week and as needed to coach and lead the Business Services Team.

The Position:
AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of an AVP, Business Credit Administration who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. The AVP, Business Credit Administration will:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Business Services Department. Lead and coach the administration and servicing employees and oversee the credit unions overall commercial credit risk.
- Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the commercial Credit Analysts.
- Support the recommendations of the Portfolio Manager to influence the impact on the department and the quality of the portfolio
- Work collaboratively with all department employees to maintain efficient workflow and commercial loan documentation in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Support the administration and operation of commercial lending policies and procedures and work collaboratively to improve the quality and efficiency of the Business Services Department.
What you will do:
As an AVP, Business Credit Administration your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage a team of Credit Administrators and Credit Analysts in the Business Services Department to perform the following…
- Review, analyze and underwrite financial statements for Periodic Reviews, Modifications, Collateral Releases, and New Loan Submissions, preparing credit approval memos.
- Accurately follow the Interagency Appraisal and Evaluations Guidelines for ordering Commercial Loan Appraisals.
- Follow the commercial lending policy to order Environmental Assessment Reports.
- Conduct pre-closing, booking and post-closing commercial lending processing to ensure all commercial loans are booked accurately and thoroughly with all data entered into the various systems and general ledger accounts.
- Monitor and track member insurance coverage, real property tax payments, and UCC filings
- Review, preserve and safeguard commercial loan files, and ensure all are within government regulations
- Responsible for adhering to service level agreements by the Credit Analysts
- Monitor, review and correct any analysis assigned to an external analyst
- Serve as a Liaison between the attorney and the credit union, communicating any types of documentation changes and/or enhancements.
- Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all commercial lending policies and regulations, and implement new regulatory processes, as necessary, including systems, procedures and policy changes.
- Create efficient workflows for Business Services focusing on improved processes for members and employees.
- Assist other employees as necessary with Business Services reporting to the Board of Directors, and any other reports used within the department.
- Maintain complete working knowledge and use of all Commercial Lending systems, including Symitar, PSCU, Abrigo/Sageworks and any other systems utilized.
