We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our sales team, specifically handling data entry and processing of sales orders from our Outside Sales Representatives. This role will involve ensuring the accurate and timely entry of sales data, maintaining customer relationships, and helping to drive sales growth through administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Data Entry and Order Processing: Accurately input and process sales orders, contracts, and other customer-related data provided by Outside Sales Representatives into the company’s CRM and other sales systems.
- Support Outside Sales Team: Act as a liaison between the outside sales reps and the internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient handling of sales orders, customer queries, and product information.
- Respond to Inquiries: Address customer inquiries regarding orders, products, and services, working to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Assist with Sales Proposals and Quotes: Work closely with outside sales reps to prepare sales quotes, proposals, and presentations for customers.
- Order Tracking and Follow-Up: Monitor and track order statuses, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Follow up with customers after orders are processed to ensure their needs are met.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service and follow-through on their needs and requests.

Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous work experience in sales support, data entry, or customer service, preferably in manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced bull pen (multiple people in one office) environment
- Pays strict attention to detail
- Able to problem solve independently and with a team
- Basic computer skills and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to follow-through
