Required Eligibility Guidelines: Candidates must meet either of the following eligibility required guidelines to be considered for the AmeriHealth Caritas Internship program.
- Candidates must be able to work a Hybrid schedule, which is 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
- Candidate must be able to fully commit to the approximate 10-week internship program from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025.
- Candidates must be rising Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors by June 2, 2025, actively enrolled in a full-time undergraduate 2-year or 4-year college degree program, and majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber / Information Security, or Risk Management.
- Candidates must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a postgraduate program or professional school (e.g., a Master's program or a law program) by June 2, 2025.
- Candidates must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor multiple corporate security platforms for signs of malicious activity.
- Identify potential security control gaps.
- Monitor the company's proxy and content filtering solution for policy violations.
- Monitor the company's security information management system.
- Review cyber threat intelligence - Assist in the preparation of security reporting and communications.
- Develop automation scripts to provide data enrichment for the security team.
- Pursuant of a degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber / Information Security, or Risk Management
- Knowledge of software development, IT security principles, and risk management.
- Understanding of security tools, policies, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications or experience with security monitoring tools are a plus.
