We are searching for an outstanding full-time undergraduate college sophomore, student or post-graduate student to join our exciting Internship Program from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025.

AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies offers paid summer internships to students enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate degree programs.
As an AmeriHealth Caritas intern, you will learn about the health care industry, our Medicaid and Medicare plans, pharmacy benefits management and behavioral health care — and how we are working to improve access to health care for all Americans. You will also join us in building healthy communities through active service projects that support our mission.
Required Eligibility Guidelines: Candidates must meet either of the following eligibility required guidelines to be considered for the AmeriHealth Caritas Internship program.
- Candidates must be able to work a Hybrid schedule, which is 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
- Candidate must be able to fully commit to the approximate 10-week internship program from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025.
Option 1:
- Candidates must be rising Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors by June 2, 2025, actively enrolled in a full-time undergraduate 2-year or 4-year college degree program, and majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber / Information Security, or Risk Management.
- Candidates must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale.
Option 2:
- Candidates must be enrolled in a postgraduate program or professional school (e.g., a Master's program or a law program) by June 2, 2025.
- Candidates must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale.
AmeriHealth Caritas is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to support key security initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in threat monitoring, risk assessment, and security operations. This internship provides an opportunity to work with industry professionals, apply cybersecurity principles in real-world scenarios, and develop expertise in security frameworks, tools, and defense strategies. Interns will gain exposure to security information management, cyber threat intelligence, and automation while enhancing their technical and analytical skills in a corporate environment. This internship is an excellent opportunity to apply cybersecurity knowledge in a professional setting, gain exposure to cutting-edge security practices, and develop essential skills for a career in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor multiple corporate security platforms for signs of malicious activity.
- Identify potential security control gaps.
- Monitor the company's proxy and content filtering solution for policy violations.
- Monitor the company's security information management system.
- Review cyber threat intelligence - Assist in the preparation of security reporting and communications.
- Develop automation scripts to provide data enrichment for the security team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Pursuant of a degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber / Information Security, or Risk Management
- Knowledge of software development, IT security principles, and risk management.
- Understanding of security tools, policies, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications or experience with security monitoring tools are a plus.
