Loan Review Specialist

Job Title: Loan Review Specialist Location: CA - Westlake Village What you'll do: AmeriHome Mortgage is looking for Loan Review Specialist PPR Component I to join our Correspondent Lending team. • Responsible for the pre-purchase review of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA loan files to ensure file contains the designated set of documentation • Ensure files contain all required documentation and meets acceptable Underwriting (DU, LQA and Fraud) standards and complies with established guidelines • Use inventory checklist to ensure loan files are complete and accurate • Accurately review loan documentation and collateral files • Verify accuracy of data between documents and systems • Achieve a minimum of 95% Productivity, 85% Quality, 90% completion within SLA What you'll need: • High School diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred • 1-3 years’ mortgage experience • Experience processing or analyzing residential mortgage loans • Self-starter and self-motivated to meet job expectations and goals • Ability to use good judgment • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and to manage multiple deadlines • Clear and effective communication skills • Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products • Exceptional organization skills to a pipeline of customers in various loan stages while meeting published production standards • Proficiency in all areas of loan documentation, loan policies/guidelines, and procedures understanding of current mortgage lending • Ability to perform highly detailed work with multiple interruptions • Ability to identify and solve problems with strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $25.09 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
