Job Title: Vice President, Trader Location: CA - Westlake Village What you'll do: AmeriHome is seeking a VP, Trader to join its growing Capital Markets Trading team. This is a challenging and dynamic role requiring complex problem-solving skills, working knowledge of Capital Markets and experience in Secondary Marketing trading MBS pools and pipeline hedging. The ideal candidate will have mortgage company pipeline hedging and specified pool trading experience demonstrating the ability to succeed in a fast-paced trading environment. Having a strong academic background, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. This role focuses on hedging, risk management and pool disposition activities within AmeriHome. This position requires in person work during market hours (5am start time). 3 years of relevant work experience in residential mortgage lending capital markets required Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field• Strong analytical, math, and critical thinking skills Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Bloomberg Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy CFA or MBA preferred Experience with VBA and/or SQL a plus What you'll need: Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $130,400.00 - $161,083.30 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
