HBI Amerilab Technologies is a growing and leading US manufacturer in the development, manufacturing, and packaging of effervescent tablets, and effervescent and non-effervescent powders in stick packs and sachets, and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team.
The Lab Technician is responsible for laboratory cleaning and upkeep, including development, pilot, and storage areas. In addition, this position will assemble, disassemble, and clean equipment, and is responsible for equipment calibration. This position will also help manage inventory and coordinate storage of raw materials and finished product. They will also support the department by providing assistance on projects as needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for laboratory cleaning, upkeep, organization, and day to day maintenance. Ensure lab complies with GMP guidelines and SOPs.
- Manage ingredient and lab supply inventory and storage. Support team by requesting raw materials, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory of raw materials and samples.
- Organize and maintain raw material, sample, finished product, and retain sample storage.
- Set up, operate, disassemble, clean, and sanitize laboratory equipment.
- Calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate outside service of equipment maintenance as needed.
- Support R&D team on pilot production and scale-up activities. This may include observation, sample collection, sample testing, data collection, and other tasks as needed.
- Support department on miscellaneous lab activities, including sample shipment, physical testing, data collection, batch manufacture, and other tasks as needed.
- Look for innovative and time saving ideas to improve functionality and time management in the lab.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
