Job Summary
This position is ideal for someone with a passion for problem solving, working behind the scenes to accomplish tasks, and with a strong appetite for delivering great customer service with their Workday HCM knowledge. This individual will be responsible researching, testing and implementing enhancements and new releases. This position is best suited for someone capable of translating requirements into Workday configuration, business processes, security roles, custom reports, etc. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of similar experience providing solutions in a Workday tenant across a variety of modules.Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities

- Build solid effective working relationships as part of a team and interact with all levels of management.
- Use relevant computer system applications at an advanced level.
- Provides technical consulting support for HRIS projects or system needs & issues.
- Apply Agile and Design Thinking concepts to come up with and execute solutions to promote continuously improving the employee experience.
- Assist in planning, support, communications, and change management, as a result of Workday or other system upgrades and changes.
- Develops requirements for new business process configuration and/or feasibility of implementing existing Workday functionality not currently being used.
- Completes data fixes, mass updates and data analysis.
- Influence/ Configure Workday HCM to achieve best manager and colleague experience
- Perform other Workday functional activities such as building calculated fields, report configuration, EIBs, custom notifications, help text, custom fields, etc. and system audits
- Serve as an advisor to solve design challenges by identifying effective workarounds for best end users experience
- Develops advanced level custom reports to extract data from systems, including providing breakouts in excel formatting, pivot tables, or graphs.
- Assesses process/ practices for efficiency and implement recommendations for improvement.
- Basic troubleshooting of integrations (with IT support)
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years experience in a similar role in lieu of education
- Minimum 3-5 years Workday experience in a similar role
- Proficient in 2 or more Workday modules (Learning, Recruiting, Advanced Comp, Talent, Payroll, etc.)
- Workday Absence module experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Self-aware and receptive to learning and change
- Intermediate Excel
- Able to discuss and advise on various solution options to configure Workday to support HCM needs
- Demonstrated attention to detail and customer service.
- Ability to learn and navigate new systems quickly with a passion for working with systems, data and people.
