Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payroll for contracted nursing services. This role requires close attention to detail, effective communication with internal departments and external subcontracted agencies, and maintaining organized records to support the financial operations of the organization. The Accounts Payable Clerk will also ensure compliance with executed agreements, maintain proper documentation, and assist with resolving payment-related inquiries.
Schedule Details
- Location: On-Site, Laguna Hills, CA.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviewing invoices and nursing notes from Home Health and contracted nursing services for accuracy according to executed agreements and /or contracts.
- Communicate with Regional Directors of Nursing for further review of nursing notes
- Oversight of nursing payroll on a bi-weekly period
- Organize and electronically file invoices as they are received.
- Maintain an Excel spreadsheet of agencies
- Send direct deposit requests to agencies/nurses that are not currently enrolled.
- Communicate with the accounting department once an invoice has been approved.
- Communicate with medical receptionists once nursing notes have been approved.
- Provide communication to agencies if additional information is required and when invoices have been approved.
- Maintain up to date necessary documentation (W-9s, Business licenses, Liability insurances, etc.) from the sub-contracted agencies.
- Follow-up on pending invoices.
- Create delivery tickets in CPR
- Respond to payment status inquiries from agencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information.
- Ability to prioritize and to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background in Medical Office
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Salary : $24 - $28
