What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Financial Advisor position at Ameriprise Financial Inc?
Why We Do What We Do:
We believe people deserve great financial advice without the fear of being sold to. We advise our clients with their long-term best interests in mind, not ours, with the goal of hearing, “Well done!”
Our Mission:
To hear “well done” from our team, clients, and community by serving their long-term best interests.
What We Are Up To:
For many people, their financial professionals don’t coordinate effectively to work together for the clients’ long-term financial interests.
This can lead to missed opportunities, ineffective strategies, and often higher taxes.
MidCoast solves that problem.
We offer clients the ability to address many of their financial questions in one location.
We have created a one-stop resource in a financial services office with unique professional alliances including a CPA accounting practice (MidCoast Tax); an insurance agency (MidCoast Insurance); a Medicare specialist (Navigating Next); and estate planning attorneys.
What We Need:
An Associate Financial Advisor who embodies our values, is excited about our mission, and has what it takes to help a fast-growing financial advisory firm assist advisors in servicing clients through taking detailed notes during meetings, following up on transaction requests, and client communication.
Who Are We Looking For:
A “Culture Advocate”.
We are obsessed with our culture and protect it dearly. We want someone who gets excited for our mission and embodies these core values:
Other’s First – Serving leads to the greater good of our team, our clients, and our community.
Build Trust –Do what you say, no surprises; treat it like it’s your own; follow through.
Communicate Well – Listen first, speak second. Say what you mean, mean what you say. If there’s an issue, let’s deal with it. Simplify the complexities.
Be Hungry – Get after it! Process improvement: make it better than what you found it.
