What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Coordinator position at Ameriprise Financial?
Below is a list of the responsibilities and expectations of the Client Service Coordinator for EPIC Wealth Partners, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. This list is in no particular order and may not be inclusive of all duties and additional duties may be added at any time.
- Creation of all new clients within the Ameriprise system and in our CRM
- Manage appropriate client files for new and existing clients
- After client creation, prompt/coordinate with each department to begin internal processing
- Preparation, completion and processing of all business-related forms and applications; use Box and Status Manager to upload documents to comply with home office requests/requirements: All (continued) communication with clients to obtain appropriate signatures through mail, fax, or e-signature, Prepare, complete and process all financial planning agreements, Keep up to date with all Corporate Office processing system updates; update internal process as necessary.
- Oversee all rollovers/transfers: Coordinate with client(s) and outside companies to obtain and complete any required paperwork to consolidate accounts into Ameriprise, Perform conference calls with clients and outside companies as necessary, to obtain outside account information and required paperwork to consolidate accounts,
- Debrief with advisors from client meetings as necessary and ensure timely client follow-up tasks addressed for each department
- Communicate and work with clients to setup Ameriprise website registration
- Keep Client Service processing cart cleaned out and organized
- Manage Estate Settlement claims with our clients’ beneficiaries: Coordinate with client(s), Ameriprise Corporate Office, and outside companies to obtain and complete any required paperwork to settle ALL related accounts
- Office back-up for mail handling, logging, and depositing checks.
- Always look for and share ideas with the team to WOW clients and become more efficient

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
