Duties and responsibilities
- Understand and adhere to all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Troubleshooting systems to diagnose and repair problems
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the plant
- Communicate often and effectively with maintenance lead, supervisors and peers across all departments
- Complete all repairs and projects with a sense of pride and , with all work completed meeting personal safety, food safety and quality standards, and on a timely manner
- Work daily with maintenance lead or maintenance supervisor on priority tasks, which can and do change on a day to day basis Be able to work any shift and overtime when needed
Qualifications
- Successful candidates will have a 2-year degree in a Maintenance field or two plus years of maintenance experience
- Electrical experience recommended
- Troubleshooting aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Strong mechanical abilities
- Able to read and understand electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic drawings
- Interact with other team members and communicate with production leaders
- Follow directions and complete projects in a timely manner
- Complete pms and workorders on a daily basis
- Understanding and troubleshooting plc logic is a plus
