We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Assistant/Administrative Support professional to assist our sales team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role is essential in supporting our sales efforts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring administrative efficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and familiarity with key industry tools such as Leaflink and Distru.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with preparing and processing sales orders, invoices, and client documentation.
- Utilize Leaflink and Distru for managing orders, tracking inventory, and maintaining sales data.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and inventory using CRM and tracking software.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing exceptional service and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for the sales team.
- Compile and prepare sales reports, presentations, and data analysis to support decision-making.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Support compliance with state regulations by maintaining accurate documentation for sales transactions and inventory tracking.
- Collaborate with marketing to distribute promotional materials to clients and assist with event coordination.
- Provide general office support and contribute to the overall efficiency of the sales department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or sales support role, preferably in the cannabis or CPG industry.
- Proficiency in Leaflink, Distru, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Metrc (preferred) and understanding of cannabis industry regulations.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the cannabis industry or working with multi-state brands.
- Knowledge of inventory management and sales tracking systems.
- Understanding of Oklahoma's medical marijuana regulations and compliance requirements.
