Job Description
Ameristar is seeking a Slot Services Specialist II. A successful candidate will provide exceptional service to our top-tier guests. This role will focus on assisting our top-tiered guests with reservations, drink coordination cleaning, personally engaging our Titanium and Onyx guests, building lasting relationships to make sure all aspects of their visit is exceptional. This position will also handle Salesforce acknolwdgements for these guests and conduct leadership inspections. The Slot Service Specialist II will also provide friendly and courteous guest service to all guests, provide cashiering and slot machine services, and work to ensure full compliance with casino policies, internal controls and Missouri State Gaming Commission regulations.
Handle top-tier guest transactions (Titanium and Onyx; jackpots, service lights, etc.)Concierge service
Assisting with reservations, drink service (coordination), EVS, etc.
Guest engagement; relationship building
Complete Salesforce acknowledgments and leadership inspections
Adhere to department and property policies, procedures, and internal controls, guest service requirements and our core values
Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards
This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty
Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity
Role models appropriate internal and external guest service at all times
Safeguards assets of the company
Observes EGD play, recognizes and promotes guest development
Process jackpots and signs slot payout forms
Support and assist other Slot Service Specialists and Slot Supervisors on the casino floor and ensure great guest service and prompt response to guests’ needs at all times
Assure that the slot machines are operating properly and that all jackpot payoffs are executed in a timely manner according to company policy
Verifies and reconciles banks at shift change
Attends to minor machine tilts/repairs, impress TITO paper and do basic preventive maintenance of slot machines
Respond to change lights on slot machines, assist customers needing change, assist guests with general questions concerning the Casino or other assistance
Ensures compliance with federal currency transaction reporting regulations
Other various duties as assigned by the Slot Supervisors or above
