About the Role:
The Executive Director of Plant Operations is responsible for overseeing the execution of operational plans, driving sales and profitability, and managing plant performance at Ameristar Meats, LLC. This leadership role involves collaboration with local and regional teams to enhance operations and cultivate customer relationships while ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute operational plans for the plant within stated strategies and policies
- Provide input on strategies and policies that impact managed plants
- Drive the plant to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, yield, specification metrics, business goals, and objectives
- Motivate a high-performance management team and steer the development of effective growth strategies
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role in sales, manufacturing, or production, preferably in a meat processing environment
- Strong knowledge of FSQA, P & L experience, sales, and leadership skills
