Job Description
Ameristar Meats, LLC is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our Stock Yards Spokane plant. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for executing the operational plan of the plant while driving sales, profitability, and efficiency in alignment with company strategies.
This role entails leadership and management of teams across various functions, ensuring adherence to operational excellence and regulatory standards. You will partner with Area and Region leadership to drive and support COP growth in local markets, and grow regional and national chain account opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, sales, and manufacturing, preferably in a meat processing environment. You will be responsible for creating relationships to drive sales to and through the broadline division teams, and providing input to Stock Yards local teams and Region Vice President Stock Yards related to strategies and policies that impact managed plant(s).
