About the Role
Ameristar Meats, LLC seeks a visionary General Manager to steer our plant operations towards excellence and drive business expansion.
Key Accountabilities
Leadership: Direct line functional leads: Warehouse, Production, Finance, Admin, Purchasing, and Sales. Dotted line for applicable functional leads: Finance, HR, FSQA.
Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with Broadline Division and Corporate Management at multiple levels. Engage with various governing agencies, auditing companies, vendors, and customers.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Minimum 8 years' experience in a Leadership role in Sales, Manufacturing, or Production; preferably in a meat processing environment.
Knowledge/Skills: Strong knowledge of FSQA, P & L experience, Sales, and leadership skills.
