Our team is growing! We are recruiting for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The role is hybrid, working 2 days per week onsite in our Farmington Hills office. The role will support the hiring of our core roles, so previous insurance experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess the following skill set.

Essential Tasks/Major Duties
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners to ensure a positive candidate experience and effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure the highest quality candidates are sourced and selected.
- Conduct initial screenings of resumes, assess candidate fit, and conduct virtual and in-person interviews.
- Schedule interviews, conduct debrief sessions, and present offers to selected candidates.
- Develop and implement creative methods for sourcing candidates to identify diverse, top talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Provide expertise to hiring managers on recruiting best practices, market trends, and sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers by providing strategic guidance and equipping leaders with tools and techniques to conduct impactful interviews.
- Facilitate interview sessions, conduct debrief sessions, and present compelling offers to candidates.
- Maintain solid industry awareness and market intelligence in terms of hiring trends, competitive landscape, compensation trends, and recruiting challenges in order to make recommendations for innovative solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Apply talent acquisition practices and processes, leveraging technology, to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize applicant tracking system to create and maintain regular reporting on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and recruiting metrics.
- Leverage data driven insights to identify trends and opportunities for talent pipeline optimization and development.
- Maintain records and files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience.
- 10 years of experience in talent acquisition in a corporate setting, insurance experience preferred.
- Experience creating and implementing unique sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
- Experience with creating diverse candidate pipelines.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, Workday experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated successful ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Strong understanding of talent management processes, including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and succession planning.
