Description of the Job:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you accompany the candidate through their entire journey: from first engagement through onboarding. This position builds and develops strong talent pipelines for all current Brilar markets, across all functions. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Enthusiastically support, promote, and adhere to Brilar’s Mission, Vision and Core Values: Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Win/Win (1 1=3), Unity, Integrity, Safety, and Respect
- Lead and execute effective full-cycle recruiting, including job posting, conducting proactive recruiting methods, phone screening, interviewing, and assisting with onboarding
- Use creative and effective recruiting methods to attract both passive and active talent
- Build and maintain a strong network within communities and with partners to expand reach and to advance the Brilar brand
- Ensure effective utilization and functionality of system operations and business processes
- Effective communication and collaboration with hiring managers and other stakeholders to meet company business needs
- Serve as brand ambassador at various events; represent company internally and externally at events and on social media with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
- Oversee and manage company social media in relation to talent acquisition responsibilities
- Track and report data to demonstrate talent acquisition spend effectiveness and return on investment
- Complete and submit accurate reports and documentation as required, in the time allowed
- Maintains complete confidentiality and exercises extreme discretion with regards to sensitive employee information
- Accountable for compliance and document tracking requirements as defined by affirmative action guidelines and local labor laws, providing support for external audits and reporting as necessary
Job Requirements

- Pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
- Must sign confidentiality, non-disclosure, non-solicitation agreement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; or Associates Degree with equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience, in-depth knowledge of candidates selection methods and excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment process
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Must have sufficient experience recruiting passive and active candidates
- Strong technical acumen with ability to efficiently use multiple tools and various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), experience with Greenhouse is a plus
- Ability to build and maintain strong external network and strong internal relationships with all key stakeholders. Customer centric.
- Sufficient knowledge of online recruiting platforms and social media channels
- Occasional travel to branch locations and hiring events
- General knowledge of human resources practices
- Outstanding communication skills; ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with all levels of stakeholders
- Able to effectively present ideas, sell, influence and negotiate to achieve results
- Established personal brand, social media presence and understanding of effective sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, social media, digital tools and other technologies
- Able to work proactively for extended periods of time with minimal direct supervision
- Possess a positive and friendly attitude
- Able to thrive in fast pace, changing environment
- Be highly motivated, driven, and eager to succeed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Application
