Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of the world s largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Help Desk / Technical Support Representative.

Location: Alpharetta, GA 30009

Duration: 6 months contract w/ possibility of extension or conversion to FTE role

Notes:

  • Hybrid position.
  • Candidate can work any hours between 8:00AM EST and 9:00PM EST.

Description:

  • Seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Technical/Help Desk Support Representative to join our IT team.
  • The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • They will respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
  • Document and track issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex issues.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Ensure timely resolution of user issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Representative or Help Desk Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-oriented and patient.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
