Location: 1750 Wall Street Rd Gunter TX
Hours: 5am - 5:30pm M-F and select Saturdays
Pay: $17 an hour weekly pay over time pay
This role is a main contributor to the daily manufacturing requirements and output for the Manufacturing Facility. Provides general labor support to the team within the department. The Team Member is also required to follow all the health & safety rules, regulations, and initiatives in the area that he/she is assigned to.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Follows safety guidelines and procedures set for this role.
- Always wears the proper PPE and follows the PPE Guidelines.
- Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or tool(s) if he/she has not been trained to operate.
- Follows the production/batch plan according to the daily production plan.
- Uses heavy power manual tools, including a jack hammer.
- Sets and moves steel rings when instructed and as necessary.
- Communicates equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately.
- Follows the manufacturing process based on the production line (pipes or boxes).
- Assists with the concrete finishing duties, when necessary, such as repairing /patching concrete pipes and boxes.
- Performs other duties assigned by the Department Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or a member of the Management Team.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to sit and talk or listen. The Team Member frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- The Team Member is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
- The Team Member must have the ability to stand for 12 hours consecutively daily.
- The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- The Team Member must frequently bend low and/or reach high, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Team Member must be able to wear hard hat/ safety glasses and all other required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Team Member must be able to work in high heat/cold environments regularly.
- Team Member must at times work near others and at heights on ladders or mechanical lifts.
- Team Member must be able to wear hearing protection at most times and respiratory protection as required.
- Team Member must be able to use hand tools at times for extended periods bearing weights up to 100 pounds on occasion.
