What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at AmeriTex Pipe & Products?
Location: Conroe, TX Facility.
The Night Production Supervisor position directs and manages all plant Production Leads as well as the Loader-operator, and Batchman. The production supervisor must communicate with the Plant Manager on a daily basis to ensure that the plant operations are following the correct protocol to make sure the product is being produced safely, on time, cost-effectively, and are meeting quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that all members of Production are wearing proper PPE at all times.
- Responsible for daily timekeeping of department.
- Work hand in hand with Safety Department ensuring that all team members follow industry-standard health and safety guidelines.
- Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all team members. Communicating goals set by senior management to team leads on a daily basis.
- Communicate with the Plant Manager on a daily basis to ensure that the schedule is being implemented in the correct manner and that the schedule is accurate on a daily basis.
- Communicate with Maintenance staff to coordinate responses to any issues or faults that may hinder the performance of the facility in any way.
- Periodically inspect the quality of the concrete batches and product appearance and ensure that all finishing techniques are being implemented.
- Daily inspect the previous day’s product; discuss any issues or concerns regarding the previous day's faults or errors with Quality Control.
- Manage the following areas: steamers and misters throughout box production and pipe production, tip out on boxes and pipe, batch plant and batch plant operations, MBK and cage bending operations, and all cleaning techniques to ensure maximum production is being reached and obtained at all times.
- Support of policies put into action by HR.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or three years plant/general leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
EXPERIENCE
- One to three years of experience in a construction environment and performing a leadership role.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, team members, customers, and the general public. Production managers must be able to speak with employees, other department managers, and senior management.
Time Management
Production managers face production deadlines, shipping dates, and more and must manage their time accordingly.
