Job Overview: Under general supervision, the Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for growing and maintaining market share by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads and nurturing relationships with existing and potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving goals.
Independently make decisions but also utilizes available resources to meet customer needs and work effectively with cross-functional teams and internal resources.
Seeks out broader relationships within the account to help facilitate networking and prospecting.
Works with escrow teams to build and maintain customer base and meet goals.
Conducts meetings, presentations, and training to prospective and existing customers.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Prepares regular reports on lead generation, sales activities, and performance metrics.
Assists in the development of sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
Conducts market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
Develops and implements effective strategies to reach target markets and achieve goals.
Participates in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Regularly attends networking events or business-related activities and functions.
Works with management on promotional strategies, product and services, marketing intelligence, planning and budgeting.
May train and support the sales team on systems, processes and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
3-5 years of progressive experience in business development, sales or related role.
Skills:
- Proven track record of success in lead generation and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to speak publicly, interact with others, and present training materials.
- Proficient in MS Suite (Office, Word, Excel, PPT, and Teams) and CRM software.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid insurance
