Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and pets, providing exceptional customer support while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients and pets in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for boarding, daycare, and grooming clients.
- Maintain accurate records and files such as vaccines and service agreements.
- Perform clerical duties including typing, proofreading, and data entry.
- Handle correspondence and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or similar role is a plus but not required.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be comfortable handling different breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs and cats.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
