Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will work under Ametrine’s Project Manager and is responsible for coordinating and managing the timely execution of project activities, maintaining and updating the project schedule, monitoring progress and communicating with the project team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, diligent, has a can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with coordination of all assigned administrative activities, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, drafting meeting materials, updating project documentation, and preparing reports for review by Project Manager
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Provide cost projections, monitor budgets, develop reports and control expenses
- Communicate effectively with project team and stakeholders regarding status, risks, issues, or action items
- Schedule meetings, record minutes, develop list of action items and associated suspenses and follow up on progress
- Capture and track action items, maintain risk and issues logs, and change request submissions
- Provide support to Project Manager to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Assist in reviewing content and providing recommendations for process improvements
- Organize and direct the movement of personnel and resources to support various projects
- Coordinates availability and allocation of materials and supplies
- Prepares reports and presents project plans, progress and results
- Performs other related duties, as required
Required Background and Experience
- Bachelors Degree - Preference in Business or STEM field.
- 3 years of support/coordinator experience
- Knowledge of project management tools and software preferred - specifically Smartsheet, Asana, and MS Project
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies preferred – CAPM Certification, a plus
- Textile industry experience preferred
- Ability to think critically when facing complex relational, technical and field use problems
- Adept at handling data, and able to present analyses in a concise manner
- Strong communications skills, particularly in presenting data and analysis to both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers.
- Strong organization and time management skills
The following activities are also required: reach (extending hands and arms in any direction), standing for long periods of time, walking (moving about to accomplish tasks), lifting (raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position), grasping (applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm), and repetitive motion (substantial moving of arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers) is required.
Other Requirements
- This role requires on-site presence. Work hours are generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with additional work as needed.
- Must be US Citizen (per US government contracts).
- US security clearance preferred; ability to obtain upon employment is required.
- May require domestic and/or international travel ( 10%).
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
