Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Work Environment: Must be able to travel and work non-regular hours (evenings and weekends).
Description
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute on-campus events, including student life activities, recruitment events, orientations, and other student-centric initiatives.
- Partner with campus organizations, student government, and other university departments to co-sponsor and participate in relevant campus events.
- Serve as the credit union's primary representative at JSU, building relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
- Support philanthropic activities and sponsorships that strengthen the credit union's connection to JSU students and enhance the credit union's community presence.
- Promote membership benefits and services to students through both formal events and informal interactions on campus.
- Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials, social media content, and campaigns tailored to the JSU student population.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Ensure all events align with the credit union’s brand, values, and community engagement strategy.
- Conduct tabling events, presentations, and workshops related to financial literacy, budgeting, and credit building for students.
- Track engagement and report on the effectiveness of events and outreach efforts.
- Identify opportunities for the credit union to give back to the JSU community.
- Support the credit union’s growth and community engagement goals.
