Title : Senior Relationship Manager (Alternatives / Private Markets)

The Role : AMG is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to engage with gatekeepers and COIs to build and maintain relationships across US Wealth, with a focus on liquid alternatives and private markets. Core Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain relationships across various firms to ensure access to key gatekeepers to magnify our affiliates advantage, grow AUM & revenue with strategic partners
  • Lead and / or coordinate all aspects of the product onboarding process with clients – due diligence, economic, operational, legal etc.
  • Partner across capital formation and with affiliates to create and implement detailed fundraising plan
  • Understand and maintain a working knowledge of firms' platforms, manager evaluation process, firm initiatives, and investment trends
  • Participate and provide input in product development planning and development
  • Partner with AMG and our Affiliates to drive innovation in product development, garner new placements, defend mandates at risk, grow market share, capitalize on key opportunities, execute the acceleration plan and provide the voice of the client

Qualifications and Attributes :

  • Deep understanding of alternative investment solutions and trends / competitive landscape within the US Wealth channel
  • Client centric individual with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently as well as within a team environment
  • Highly motivated, proactive team player with strong work ethic, collaborative attitude, and professional demeanor
  • Ownership mindset in managing resources : thoughtful expense management and budget allocation to optimize ROI
  • Understanding of regulatory landscape and experience in negotiating agreements in partnership with legal, compliance and platform
  • Detail-oriented, intellectually curious and intentionally contributes & fosters a positive culture of excellence
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or expected to immediately become licensed
