Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent food service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
• Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow.
• Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen supervisor promptly.

Skills

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Good time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Willingness to help out in various areas of the kitchen as needed, including food preparation and service support.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
