We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant, catering service, or hotel setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas.
- Support banquet and catering events by managing dishware and equipment used during service.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with banquet and catering operations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
