**RE-POST** LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHING ASSISTANT
LOCATION: Amherst Middle School
HOURS: 32.5 Hours/Week
START DATE: As soon as possible (position goes through June 27, 2025-tentative date)
SALARY: $18.50/hour
DESCRIPTION:
This Long Term Substitute Teaching Assistant position is in a Middle School classroom. The Teaching Assistant will assist with routine classroom functions, assume teacher responsibilities, conduct classroom activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of need, and assist with required paperwork in classrooms. The Teaching Assistant will perform duties inside and outside of the classroom.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- TEACHING ASSISTANTS MUST HAVE TEACHING ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION OR NYS TEACHER CERTIFICATION OR WORKING TOWARDS EITHER OF THESE CERTIFICATIONS.
