ANTICIPATED LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHING ASSISTANT
LOCATION: Amherst Middle School
HOURS: 32.5 Hours/Week
START DATE: April 28, 2025 through June 25, 2025(tentative dates)
SALARY: $18.50/hour
DESCRIPTION:
This Long Term Substitute Teaching Assistant position is in a Middle School Special Education classroom. The Teaching Assistant will assist with routine classroom functions, assume teacher responsibilities, conduct classroom activities and assist with required paperwork in classrooms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- TEACHING ASSISTANTS MUST HAVE TEACHING ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION OR NYS TEACHER CERTIFICATION OR WORKING TOWARDS EITHER OF THESE CERTIFICATIONS.
