About the Project/Clinic
The Admin Supervisor will be part of the RISE AMI team recognizing the crucial need to support
enhancing long-term care facility resiliency and self-reliance with the purpose of preventing and
effectively responding to COVID-19 and other infectious disease outbreaks. Therefore, as part of LTC
RISE, awardees will also be providing quality improvement project opportunities to interested skilled
nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities, personal care homes, and assisted living facilities in the
following areas:
1. Long-term Care Facility workforce resiliency
2. Infection prevention and control and emergency preparedness
3. Sustainable outbreak response operation.

Job Summary:
AMI is hiring to support a project-focused Call Center consisting of a team. Administrative Assistants,
along with Case Workers, will monitor a 24/7 call center for inquiries, consultations, and follow-up calls
from Long-Term Care Facilities and redirect questions to appropriate resources. The call center staff are
essential team members helping triage calls from long-term care facilities needing COVID-19 outbreak
response support or as the first point of contact for enrollment in capacity-building efforts. The call
center staff are AMI ambassadors with exceptional customer service skills, impeccable attention to
detail, and self-motivated team members who communicate across all team members to facilitate
attentive service to our client. Must be local to the PA region to which you are assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Collect patient information and provide discharge paperwork.
• Create, organize, and update patient medical records.
• Point of contact for all non-medical questions from patients and their families.
• Provide clerical support to the RN assigning patients to the unit medical professionals.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Related tasks as needed.
The job duties are flexible and subject to change depending upon operational needs.


Required Skills/Abilities:
• Basic office technology skills
• Type a minimum of 50-65 WPM.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.
• Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
• Takes direction well.
• Ability to self-manage once given a project.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
• Ability to act as a team player.


Education & Experience:
• Minimum High school, GED, or equivalent diploma.
• 1-2 years medical or healthcare experience.
• Ability to pass both a criminal and driver’s background check.
• Understand Center for Medicaid/Medicare Policies and procedures and the 5-star rating system.
• Data Entry or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

• Must be able to work in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations. Must work as a
team member to improve safety culture and quality.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently.
• Written and spoken fluency in English
• Active and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be willing to drive with others to site visits.
• Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time to include potential overnight stays.
• Must be willing to work at the office location.
• Up to date COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for this role.
