About the Project/Clinic:

??AMI will provide comprehensive medical care and support to individuals in a migrant processing center, ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in a secure and controlled environment.??

Job Summary:

??The Advanced Care Provider plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality healthcare services. The ACP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as educating patients and their families.?

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • ??Conduct thorough patient assessments, order appropriate diagnostic tests, and develop effective treatment plans.

  • ?Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.

  • ?Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.

  • ?Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation in accordance with the healthcare facility's policies and procedures.

  • ?Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate, following state regulations and scope of practice.

  • ?Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.

  • ?Engage in clinical research and quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and outcomes

Skills/Abilities:

  • ??Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.?

  • ?Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.???

  • ?Excellent communication and time management skills.??

  • ?Must be able to successfully complete the AMI Credentialing Process.??

  • ?Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

  • ?Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.?

Education & Experience:

  • ??Master’s degree in nursing (for NPs) or a Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

  • ?Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

  • ?National certification as an NP or PA.

  • ?Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in primary care, urgent or emergency care.

  • ?Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).?

Additional Requirements:

  • ???Must be able to work in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations. Must work as a team member to improve safety culture and quality.?

  • ?Must be able to lift 50 pounds.?

  • ?Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.

  • ?Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently.

  • ?Fluent in English.

  • ?Vaccinations as required. ??
