AMI will provide comprehensive medical care and support to individuals in a migrant processing center, ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in a secure and controlled environment.
Job Summary:
The Primary Care Physician will assist in providing comprehensive medical care within a secure healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, promote wellness, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a unique and diverse population.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Deliver professional health services which adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

Ensure the highest standards of clinical and ethical governance.

Maintain HIPPA and OSHA compliance.

Maintain professional currency, including all relevant state, federal and local regulations.

Review and approve all training materials for personnel. (Assign training personnel)

Assist in the general day-to-day operations of the facility as required.

Ensure operational readiness of mission related health care equipment.

Work in coordination with the Project Manager to ensure proper operations and promote a positive team environment.

Deliver primary medical care, including preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services, to patients in a secure setting.

Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including but not limited to hypertension, diabetes, and infectious diseases.

Perform thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Provide health education and counseling on preventive care, wellness, and lifestyle modifications.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Respond to urgent or emergency medical situations as needed, providing stabilization and coordination of further care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and health outcomes.

Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols in all aspects of patient care.
The job duties are flexible and subject to change depending upon operational needs.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Office.
Education & Experience:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.

Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a similar specialty.
-
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
