Job Summary:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing resources to ensure the availability of essential supplies and equipment needed for the smooth operation of the facility. Their role will involve inventory management, re-ordering of supplies, shipping/receiving of assets, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. By efficiently managing resources, they will contribute to the overall effectiveness and functionality of the facility.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Inventory Management and Control
-
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock quantities, consumption rates, and replenishment needs.

Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.

Adhere to established inventory control measures to minimize waste, loss, and expiration of supplies.

Collaborate with Logistics and Operations Departments to forecast future inventory requirements and optimize stock levels.

Procurement as directed by Senior Procurement Manager

Assist in development of Bill of Materials and RFP/RFQ pricing.

Complete fulfilment of supplies and services based on project needs.

Analyze PR, PO and invoices to ensure accuracy of goods purchased and delivered.

Create purchase orders and associated documentation as needed.

Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods.

Contribute to ISO compliance, and annual audit review process

Adhere to AMI Corporate Procurement processes and procedures

Logistics

Work with the Logistics team to ensure compliance with applicable logistics policies, procedures, and regulations.

Support site Logistician(s) in inventory management and shipping/receiving protocols, per supervisor direction.
The job duties are flexible and subject to change depending upon operational needs

Knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines related to procurement is a plus

Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field

Proven experience in logistics, or supply chain operations

Familiarity with logistics practices, inventory management, and shipping/receiving
