Job Purpose
The Office/HR Administrator should be a highly organized and detail-oriented This position will be responsible for managing office operations, providing HR support, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities
Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Manage office budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
Human Resources Support:
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees.
- Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in organizing employee training and development programs.
Administrative Tasks:- Prepare and distribute internal communications, such as memos and announcements.
- Maintain and update company databases and records.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Education and Experience
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office administration and HR support.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HR software and systems.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
- Professional office environment and occasional manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, grinding, vapor, dust and lubricants
- Routinely required to use standard office equipment
- Expected to be proficient with a variety of computer programs, including MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
- Must adhere to company safety policies and wear the required personal protective equipment as needed
Physical Demands
- Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to operate office equipment, talk, and hear
- May occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds
Travel
- Minimal to no travel required
