What are the responsibilities and job description for the Harvest Operations Internship Opportunity position at Amici Cellars?
Amici Cellars is a boutique winery nestled in Calistoga, where we typically process no more than 195 tons of grapes per year. We produce single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay from Sonoma Coast and Russian River vineyards.
The harvest intern will be responsible for conducting various processes critical to winemaking and wine quality, including:
- Monitoring temperature and sugars of wine tanks during fermentation
- Receiving, completing, and comprehending work orders and tasks
- Helping to monitor the wine-making process and communicating results to Assistant Winemaker and/or Winemaker
We offer a living expense stipend and opportunities for overtime during peak harvest periods. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a can-do attitude and ability to work extended hours.
