Job Functions:
- Prepare and administer vaccines, managing inventory to ensure availability.
- Identify and remove infertile eggs for further examination and analysis.
- Maintain the upkeep of medical devices, ensuring they are clean and functioning properly.
- Operate an air hose and hot high-pressure water hose as needed for tasks.
- Shovel, clean, and dispose of gross hatch debris in a sanitary manner.
- Clean and inspect all surfaces and machinery to verify they are free from debris and contaminants.
- Good personal hygiene and adherence to health codes and standards.
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift and push 50 lbs. with ease.
- Constant focus and concentration required to maintain quality and safety standards.
- To safely administer vaccine to 18-day-old embryos, protecting poultry from disease and maintaining flock health.
