As a Machinist / CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of manual and CNC machines to fabricate components with high precision according to specifications. You will work with blueprints, technical drawings, and cutting tools to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements
- Set up and operate both manual and CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.) to manufacture parts according to specifications
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and apply them to various machining tasks
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet strict tolerances and quality standards
- Perform mathematical calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machining parameters
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery
