CNC Machinist Setup/Operator

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual with experience using (CNC) machines to join our team. This is a hands-on role that sets up, edits programs, operates, and maintains both large and small scale lathes and/or mills. The candidate can be specialized in either lathe, mill, or both. Essential Job Functions include:

· CNC setup and operation

· Able to read and interpret customer drawings

· Able to manage work flow and product quality

· G-Code understanding

Additional Responsibilities:

· Punctuality and reliability on the job

· Some limited PM on the equipment and local work space

· Willing to back-up and support other machining operations

· Proficient in micrometer and caliper gauge usage.

· Able to maintain a clean and safe work station

Education and Experience

· Prior metal working and machining experience. Pay scale is based upon experience and proficiency level

· Understands geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, and finishing

· Able to prepare a workstation for a particular; tools, fixtures, set-up

· Can work and be productive with limited supervision and direction

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
